Dr. S.K. Saikia has accepted the herculean responsibility of the 127 years old historic Dibrugarh Xahitya Xabha (Literary Society) as President.
The seat which was adorned by eminent educationists, writers, litterateur of repute like Ambikagiri Rai Chaudhary, Padmadhar Chaliha, Rajanikanta Bordoloi, Benudhar Rajkhuwa, Nilamani Phukan, Dr. Nagen Saikia, Dr. Keshabananda Deva Goswami, and many more.
